Amber in Milan

Amber, the energy meter is being shown in Milan this week as part of The Other Hemisphere exhibition. Nine Australian Design practices have produced work inspired by the theme The Other Hemisphere. Each design requires the user to peer into the world that the object creates — and in doing so describes the act of looking into another place — whether that is yourself, the earth, elements of light and sound, another world or the universe; literally or conceptually. As a result, the exhibition fuses the simultaneous facts of this and the other, there and here.
