"Revealing, considering and celebrating the process of respiration between us and the garden."

Two-way is a wearable garment that aims to illustrate and provide a point of reflection on the two-way process of respiration. The design takes as its starting point the premise that every breath we take is one that is shared by a plant. This work stems from a broader exploration that seeks to convey a sense of our (humans) connection to a holistic system. A successful design would generate or facilitate this knowledge or experience, allowing the notion of ‘sustainability’ to leave the realm of the theoretical and become a first-hand and immediate daily practice.
