Travel to Turkey
Then & Now: Fact: 2008
Travelled in Turkey for one month with my family. Truly a fascinating country; we swam in the Mediterranean, visited temples carved out of volcanic stalagmites that were first made by Pagans, then renovated by Christians and finally redecorated by Muslims. We were sombred at Gallipoli - then watched the movie, ate tomatoes like it was fruit, smelt fresh cucumber from the room down the stairs, watched ships sail the Bosphorus, heard the prayers ring out from the mosques three times a day and all high-fived at every stop along the way. Thank you wonderful family!
