Time in Coober Pedy
Then & Now: Fact: 2009

Two great weeks spent in and around Coober Pedy. Highlights include flying over Lake Eyre - the world's largest internally draining system covering about 1.2 million square kilometres, almost one-sixth of Australia, which is currently holding water from horizon to horizon; seeing the Painted Desert - a geological super model; eating the best pizza ever at John and Mary's, got to try it to believe it; going down a mine with a seasoned noodler to look for the colour and soaking for hours in the warm thermal water of Dalhousie.
