Two-way is a wearable garment that provides a point of reflection on the two-way process of respiration. It illustrates that every breath we take is one that is shared by plants. This work is part of a broader exploration to convey a sense of our (humans) connection to a holistic system.

The piece is made with conductive knit that acts as a switch, controlled by the expansion and contraction of your chest as you breathe. The electroluminescent (EL) panel fades on, illuminating the plant silhouette, and off.
