Wren collection
2019

"We should take every opportunity to shift our lens of the world back towards the living planet.” Elliat Rich

The Fairywren, also known as the Muruduwin to the local Eora and Darug people of the Sydney basin, is one of the few small native bird species who has successfully adapted to urbanisation. Like us, they are social beings that feed in small groups, they also have short bursts of activity during the day and don’t travel far from home. Through colour and form the WREN collection reframes the presence of these gentle and playful birds who continue to sing and dance while the world around them transforms.
